For those that have been coming into our chat room and wondering where the DJ’s have gone, we’ve moved to Tango’s server at chattercity.net there’s 3 ways that you can enter either at http://chattercity.net and join #skmradio or you can click irc://irc.chattercity.net/skmradio for mIRC and other IRC application users OR use your chat room at http://skmradio.com/chat for the people that are used to our friendly chat room :).
Once again, we are working on a new website design/layout and we’re working for hours a day! I think you guys are gonna LOVE it once its done! We almost have the homepage complete, and we’ll be moving onto the subpages shortly thereafter. I’ll try to get a screenshot soon. 
In other news, our chatroom host encountered a fatal error over the past few days, so we are attempting to find a new chatroom host…I believe we have one chosen, we just have to configure it soon. I will try to fix the website chat so it goes to our new one, ASAP.

SKMRadio now has a low band stream running! This low band stream is primarily for dial up users, to allow easier connecting and listening for dial up users. The Listen to SKMRadio page has been updated to show both the regular (high band) and low band stream listen links. Now all dial up users can listen to SKMRadio and receive quality hits!

SKMRadio has made a few updates to the SKMRadio website to make it more usable for you and convenient for us.
The first update is that we have removed the extra sections on the links sidebar (over on the left) to allow you to access the links you WANT to access and avoid seeing the links you don’t.
We have also added a donation button below the live help chat logo at the bottom of the links sidebar. We understand that not everyone wants to donate which is why we have made this button easy to find but not all over the place, but as with most businesses, we need money to run. The donation amount can be of your choice, as by default the donation amount is $0.00; You must change the box at the top of the Paypal page which states “Unit Price” to the amount in USD in which you would like to donate. SKMRadio does not charge you money to listen, is commercial-free, and has a high quality stream with many slots which is to make your listening experience better. As with all radio stations, we need money to pay for music licensing, hosting costs (for radio, website, etc.), other bills, and so donating is a great way to give back to the radio.

We are in the process of switching radio servers to provide higher quality music streams with availability for more listeners to tune in at once. While doing so, we are provided with a server that has a little lower quality than what you, and we, are used to. However, things should be back to normal (or even better!) very soon, hopefully by the beginning of next week. Thanks for the support as we change our servers to better serve YOU!

I signed up for payperpost a few weeks ago and it looks great!
I get to be paid for posting small advertisements on my site to help support the site and have a few extra $ in the bank, I would recommend it for everyone over 18 to at last give it a shot, they won’t bite nor there’s very many rules to go by. It’s friendly and easy to sign up with.
You can add as many, or as little blogs as you like the dashboard looks awesome.
If your not into the profit thing with your blog, you can always donate it to various charities like American Red Cross, Habitat for Humanity or Alzheimer’s Walk.
The bad part about it is that some of the people that advertise there ask for completely positive posts for such a little money 
but you can always ignore those ones though.
The various advertisers require various things from your blog, like catgories, uniqueness inside it, or how many “tacks” you have.
It takes some time to get used to, but after a while, you’ll love it. The staff are always there to help if you need some support
You can refer friends, you get paid, they get to review your posts they get paid, it’s quite simple really.
I have made some updates to the SKMRadio Website today. The first being that I have added a link to the SKMRadio Online Store where you can order SKMRadio Merchandise. This link can be found in the links list on the left of any SKMRadio.com page, under the Community section. The second update is that I have updated the Contact Us page to include all of our email addresses and techniques to contact us (the Staff of SKMRadio).
Also, we have had various graphics created to promote the website. They are mainly for profiles on places like MySpace and Facebook, where you can put them all over your profiles to support the radio. They will be made public as soon as possible, however I am still reviewing them.

Whether you’ve already seen it or not, SKMRadio has launched a live chat support application so listeners and clients can request live, one-on-one chat support. This live chat allows the SKMRadio Management Staff to answer live chat queries when online in an orderly manner.
Even if we are showing offline, if you click the live help chat button, you will be taken to a page in which you can email your query to us for an email response.
To check out the status of the Live Chat (if there’s a Management Staff Representative available) or to ask a question regarding SKMRadio in any way, look on the left at the bar of links and the Live Chat logo will be at the bottom of the list.
